Colney Cottage is a home away from home situated in the lovely village of Broke. The cottage is a relaxing retreat and a convenient location for exploring all that the Hunter Valley has to offer. Whether you're visiting the world famous vineyards, cellar doors, award winning restaurants, attending weddings or one of the many concerts in the region, Colney Cottage will offer a relaxing, convenient place to stay.
The house accommodates 2-6 people with 3 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and 2 with doubles. All linen and towels provided. In the bathroom you can relax in a luxurious claw foot bath or walk in shower with complementary products to pamper yourself.
The lounge is the perfect place to relax on the comfortable sofas, beside the wood burning fire with a glass of Hunter Valley wine, looking out to the picturesque view of the gardens and Broke Recreational Grounds. Colney Cottage is well stocked with a large selection of DVDs, games and books to ensure you are always entertained.
The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances, dishwasher, coffee machine, built-in oven, hob and refrigerator. A good selection of tea and coffee is provided, as well as basic cooking items. There is reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you cool on those hot summer days.
The house is surrounded by a large garden with a fenced area safe for children. There is a fabulous outside covered area to sit and watch the world go by. Why not sit around the fire pit with a glass of wine and get the barbecue on. PLEASE NOTE USE OF THE FIRE PIT IS PROHIBITED FROM 1st OCTOBER TO 31st MARCH. LARGE FINES APPLY. We have herbs in the garden, please help yourselves. At the front you can sit and relax with views across the recreation ground with fields and hills behind it.

Summary: We had a beautiful three nights at the cottage. It is perfectly situated in Broke right next to Broke Fordwich wine trail. Place is really spacious, clean with a lovely log fire. Highly recommend this place for a stay in the Hunter region.
