Nestled into a riverfront enclave, this condo is perfect for a lone traveler or a romantic haven for two as you relax and unwind by the creek! This cabin is refreshingly simple and newly renovated. The condo is just 20 mins from the ski slopes, 35 mins from Denver and only 5 minutes from the historic town of Idaho Springs.
The condo is PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED w/ disinfectant & HEPA-3 air purifier after each guest.
4 wheel drive is NOT required to access the cabin, parking is directly in front.
Absolutely NO Campfires.
Please note in our listing that "beachfront" refers to having direct access to the creek. It is not a sandy beach, however, Vrbo does not have a specific setting to note that it is the banks of the creek, which are rocky.
This property is part of a larger property with many cabins. The rest of the property is off limits at all times, as all other condos & cabins have either long or short term tenants living in them. Please do not disturb them. If you are looking for a stay in the middle of the forest, that is very private, this is not it - as noted it is on a large property. Always contact us via the Vrbo app for assistance! By booking this listing, your access is for the Cobblestone condo, and not the surrounding condos or cabins.
No pets allowed on the property. If we discover that you have brought an animal onto our property in violation of our policies, you will be required to leave immediately, and no refund will be given. No exceptions.
-A penalty of $500 will be imposed if an unauthorized pet is brought onto the property.
VERY IMPORTANT! IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH A SERVICE ANIMAL, WE NEED TO BE INFORMED FAR IN ADVANCE OF YOUR ARRIVAL. NORMAL PEST CONTROL ACTIVITIES, & MAINTENANCE COULD INTERFERE WITH THE HEALTH & SAFETY OF YOUR SERVICE ANIMAL IF YOU DO NOT INFORM US OF THEIR PRESENCE FAR IN ADVANCE. PER LAW, ALL SERVICE ANIMALS MUST HAVE LOCAL REGISTRATION AND CURRENT VACCINATIONS. WE EXPECT YOU TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE CONFIRMATION THAT YOUR SERVICE ANIMAL IS REGISTERED IN YOUR LOCAL AREA AND THAT THEIR VACCINATIONS ARE CURRENT. PLEASE BE A RESPONSIBLE SERVICE ANIMAL OWNER AND PROVIDE CONFIRMATION THAT YOU ARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW FOR YOUR SERVICE ANIMAL. IT IS ILLEGAL TO REPRESENT A PET AS A SERVICE ANIMAL IN THE STATE OF COLORADO, IF IT IS NOT AN ACTUAL TRAINED SERVICE ANIMAL UNDER ADA LAW.
We cannot guarantee that we can answer the phone at all hours of the day and night if you call. We have one phone, and the person who answers the phone cannot be awake 24 hours a day/7 days a week. If you need anything whatsoever during your stay, you must message us via the Vrbo app. That is the only way we can guarantee a response. We have several staff members who monitor the messages, and can most promptly assist you in that manner.
We do not allow smoking or incense of any kind inside the condo. If you plan to smoke, please do so outdoors, with the cabin doors & windows closed. There is an ashtray on the deck out back for your use. If we discover this rule has been broken, we will need to collect damages to have the condo fumigated.
Our internet service is terrific & strong! We have high speed fiber via Centurylink at 100mbps. That being said, like any service, it can go down from time-to-time. Though this is rare, we will not be responsible for any inconvenience this may cause. No credit will be given if service is slow or down during your stay. Wi-Fi is also just 3 minutes down the road in town if you need it.
There is little to no cel service at the cabin - it is spotty at best. You can get cel service 1-2 minutes down the road (toward town). Check the Wi-Fi calling option on your phone, so you can use it via internet.
Guests, please note that this condo was built many, many years ago. Although it has had many beautiful updates done, it is an old building and is not ADA compliant. Some of its features may not be to current building code, but are consistent to its year of construction. There is some sound transference between condo units in this building, thus the reason quiet hours MUST be respected.
We do not offer refunds for any reason.
There have been sightings of bear, mountain lion, deer, elk, moose, and foxes in the area. This is their home too. Please make sure to bring all food inside at night. Do not sleep with the doors open. Animals can be curious!
Enter the creek at your own risk! We are not responsible if you injure yourself by going in the water. We do not recommend that you enter the creek, as it could be unsafe.
We can arrange for cleaning during your stay for an extra $50 fee.
