***Welcome to "Coast Away ". Located at 1412 Chancellor St Edisto Beach, SC. This completely renovated beach home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You'll love the high end finishes and low key decor found throughout. The living room has a large Smart TV and ALL bedrooms have their own SmartTV, as well. You will be living in style in this house. No expense was spared! Enjoy sleeping on the new high end mattresses and whipping up dinner in one of the nicest stocked kitchens of a short term rental! When you are ready to enjoy a day on the beach, you are just an easy DIRECT 3 minute walk to the access! You'll enjoy hanging out on the back deck that features 2 polywood Adirondack chairs and 2 polywood Sun loungers. The "Breezeway" underneath the house also provides outdoor loungers. Bring the boat!!- Plenty of parking for your vessel!

As most all homes on Edisto, this is a SELF- Catered home. You will need to bring items of use WITH YOU. TP, Paper towels, trash bags, soaps, detergents...ETC! *The house is NOT bare, however we cannot guarantee all items each time, and starter amounts do NOT last for the duration of your stay. So come prepared please! There is a store just 5 mins down the road for supplies if you like.
LINENS- for beds are not provided (Comforters and pillows are provided, as pictured), but you will need to bring sheets and pillowcases for the beds you will be using, or you can rent them from one of the linen rental services on the Island. They deliver and pick up!
PETS- Non shedding *hypoallergenic* breeds are considered. We will NOT consider anything other than described here! You must email the Breed/Weight/Age/ a picture of your pet for approval BEFORE reserving. If approved, a $150 (plus tax) per pet fee will apply. All pets MUST be current on flea and tick prevention, properly monitored and contained, and are STRICTLY not allowed on any of our beds or furniture. Pets MUST be crated if left alone in the house. ABSOLUTELY NO UNAPPROVED PETS ALLOWED! If you are found to have pets that have not been approved to stay, you will be asked to leave the property and will forfeit all monies.
Kitchen- This is a stocked kitchen. You should find everything you need to prepare and serve meals. Various pots/pans, dishes, glassware, silverware, knives, utensils etc.
Keurig duo coffee device that has both carafe and pod option!
GOLF CARTS- This address is allowed to rent golf carts from the rental companies!
Location- Coast Away is located around the 1400 block of the beach. We are located on a low traffic secondary street!
Beach Equipment- There is normally some equipment located in the storage room. You can normally find a beach wagon, some chairs, some boogie/skim boards.
While guests are welcome to use any items and return as found, we do NOT guarantee them being there. If you purchase any beach items that you do not wish to take home, feel free to leave them down there for future guests :)
Grill- As of current time *2023* we have a propane grill on the back deck and a Webber charcoal grill in the carport area.
Guests supply their own charcoal. We do start the season out with a couple of propane tanks but ask guests to please take down to one of the stores for an exchange if they need.
The Faucet Water- This home is supplied with water that has been filtered using Reverse Osmosis and is safe for consumption.

AMENITIES PASSES- Guests can contact or visit the Waters Edge Cafe for Wyndham Ocean Ridge amenities passes for purchase. Offering 3 swimming pools *one indoor/heated*, a hot tub, Fitness Room, Mini Golf, playground, Tennis Courts, and beachfront cabana equipped with bathrooms, picnic tables, volleyball court, showers, and seasonal chair and umbrella rentals.
This is a NON SMOKING home. Please do so outside and dispose of ALL evidence.

AGE REQUIREMENT: We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under the age of 25 , unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. The reservation must be made in the adult guardian/parents name. (EXCEPTIONS MAY BE MADE FOR HONEYMOONERS). If Picture ID is requested by the host it must be provided to complete or keep a reservation.
If the home is found to be under abuse during your stay. Any house parties, animals that weren't permitted, rented under false pretenses, third party rentals, or causing a nuisance to neighbors or the town in general, owner holds all rights to force the premises vacant immediately without owing you any money in refund
Rental Rules & Regulations
- Check in time is after 5pm EST and Check out is 11am EST.
-No items should be taken from the home inventory
-All debris, rubbish, and discards should be placed in dumpster.
- Any overflow trash must be taken away from the property (there is a recycling center on Hwy 174)
- DO NOT leave any trash outside of trash bins. (Wildlife will destroy)
-All dishes should be left cleaned.
- All keys should be placed back in their lockbox and home secured before your departure.
- Do NOT move any large furniture items, and if you do move a small piece of furniture or any lawn furniture, you are required to place it back in it's original place before departing.
- If you wash any of our linens, please wash them only with like colors. To prevent dying them.
- Guests provide their own sheets sets for beds they will be using. (or rent them)
- Guests provide their own toiletries and paper products, etc
- Appx 8 luxury bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and beach towels are provided for use in the home, you must wash/dry and return them as found before you depart. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE THESE. IF Laundering them will create a stressful situation for you, please bring your own... or rent some from one of the companies
- If the grill is a charcoal grill; do NOT use it on or move it on to any deck or porch!
- Clean grill after each use.
-- DO NOT PARK ON GRASSY AREAS! This home is equipped with a septic tank and the tank and drain fields can NOT be driven over or parked on.
We expect our guests to leave our home neat and tidy upon their departure so that housekeeping can come in and do their job of cleaning and sanitizing!
CHECKOUT TO DO LIST:
1. Place bedspreads/blankets/pillows back on to the beds they belong.
2. Clean all used dishes
3. If you have moved any furniture at all, please place it back where it belongs.
4. Remove ALL trash from house and place in the garbage bins outside.
5. Remove all opened perishables from the refrigerator.
6. Did you use any of our towels etc? If so, please wash and leave them as they were found for the next guests.
7. Return keys to lockbox and scramble code
8. Don't be too sad leaving Edisto!!!!
