Healing Hideaway is a great place to find peace and restfulness from everyday life. Located just a short walk from the public beach access in St. Joe Beach across from Seashore Dr, you’ll have fantastic views from either the top floor balcony or patio in the front yard. St. Joe Beach is pet friendly, and so is Healing Hideaway, so make plans to bring your dog to join you on those walks.
This 2 bedroom/1.5 bath townhouse is located on the ground level with the living area on the bottom floor and the bedrooms located upstairs. It can accommodate a family of 4 or two couples quite nicely. The fenced back yard is a great place to hang when not on the beach with a great sundeck and dining for your evening meals.
This location is ideal year around. The beach is beautiful, and typically not too crowded. The shoreline is calm and ideal for children. And don’t forget about the sunsets in the fall, they are simply breathtaking. Come take a break at Healing Hideaway any time of year.
Floor Plan: Ground level – living room, TV, DVD player and ½ bath; eat-in kitchen with a two-top dining table and bar seating. 1st floor – bedroom 1 with queen bed and private deck; full bath with shower only, and bedroom 2 – king bed, TV and furnished, gulf view deck.

Summary: Overall good visit, not our favorite location or rental property. Pictures are a bit misleading, back/ fenced yard no real yard mostly sand with weeds and a sprinkler hose in center, HVAC unit very loud so not so enjoyable to sit in that area. Outdoor shower very difficult to turn on and off, so didn’t use. The picture from balcony shows decent view of beach/ocean suggestive of beach access, this is not accessible for renters of this property this is private access for property owners in same neighborhood. Rental description does tell you where to enter beach, but lots of construction so was difficult to access .25 miles from door to closest spot to set up on beach. Shower puddles away from drain so have to step into to dirty bath water get out of shower. Biggest balcony looks over backyard into the back of other properties. We did reach out to property management for a few issues response was prompt, but without notification. We are relatively new to staying in this area and were hopeful that this could be a future dog friendly rental, but we will keep looking. Check in was easy, beach gear credit was useful and easy.
