Positive: Great location just a short drive into St Emilion. Set in vineyards.
Negative: The room was quite basic and needed some TLC … paint flaking off in bathroom. No toiletries in bathroom either. Bed was comfortable but pillows weren’t … could have done with a choice of softer pillows. Also wasn’t sure whether we were allowed to use swimming pool as it was next to the guest house situated along side the main house and we would have disturbed the guests staying there. Breakfast was also quite basic although the staff were very friendly.
Summary: Great location if you want to be near St Emilion. Has great potential but just missing finishing touches to make it real
