Summary: I have traveled to Playa Del Carmen for years mostly solo. The Plantation House is located in a great part of the city and provides easy access to both 5th Avenue and the beach. I also felt very safe staying here. The condo was clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was lovely to be able to cook small meals for myself and read on the balcony in the evening. The gentlemen who own and manage The Plantation House provide excellent communication and are responsive to any request. It’s truly a great place to stay!
