Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The host was great and provided a very detailed house manual with tips and suggestions for our vacation. He also helped with contacts for car rental and local stores and restaurants. The check in was smooth and easy. The apartment is nicely furbished and the kitchen is well equipped. It's located in Otrobando, which is like 15 min walking distance from the most famous, touristic area in Willemstad. Free parking within the interior court.
Negative: All the neighbouring houses have dogs and they would bark constantly day & night. I am pretty noise sensitive and sleep with earplugs, but still the noise was really annoying (especially during the night). The apartment does not have any noise isolation. I was told there are dogs barking all over the island though.
Summary: Nice apartment, great host, excellent value for money, though pretty noisy
