This lovely cottage is on a quiet lane within 50 metres of the beach and the Top Tieb harbour. What's not to like! Property description Chykembro Cottage offers character seaside family accommodation in a traditional stone cottage with views of the sea and St Michaels Mount. This very pretty cottage is on a quiet lane within yards of the town harbour and gorgeous beaches. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and separate dining area within a large family living room with a stone fireplace and electric effect stove. On the first floor there are two charming bedrooms. The surprisingly spacious master bedroom with a king size bed has sea views towards Trenow Cove. The second bedroom is a wood panelled twin bedded room with dual aspect windows providing views of the sea and St Michael’s Mount as well as Marazion Manor and the Church. The cottage has been in private ownership for over 10 years as a much loved family seaside retreat. It has been sensitively renovated and decorated in a seaside theme to a very high standard. Chykembro is well equipped including: TV and DVD & Free Wi-Fi. There is a small courtyard garden with picnic table & chairs. Chykembro Cottage is located on a quaint lane off the main street which runs though the small town of Marazion, yet is conveniently close to the quaint town centre with its cafes, traditional pubs, award winning restaurants and specialist shops selling crafts produced by local artists. Accommodation details Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has an antique style King size bed, a wardrobe and sash windows with wooden shutters providing sea views to Trenow Cove. Heating is by electric storage heater. Bedroom 2 has a pair of wrought iron single beds. There are views from two windows to the sea and St Michaels Mount on one aspect, and a lovely view of Marazion Manor and Church from the other. Heaing is by electric storage heater. Bathrooms: The family bathroom upstairs is fitted with a full size bath with an electric shower over. There is a low level WC and hand basin with a shaver point and electric storage heater. Kitchen: The good sized kitchen has charming blue painted units providing lots of useful storage space and worktop with stainless sink. There is an electric cooker with extractor hood over and a microwave oven. There is also a fridge with freezer compartment and a washing machine. Living Room: The living room has an original feature stone fireplace fitted with an electric wood burning effect stove. There is a L shaped settee, a wicker chair and window seat. TV with DVD and music system (CD/Radio). The floor is tiled with rugs. Other: The dining area in an alcove off the living room has a square table and 4 dining chairs. Cleaning/Towels/Linen/service: Bath and Hand Towels and bed linen are provided. Please bring your own Beach Towels. Amenities/Facilities: Garden. Fridge, Hob/Stove, Iron, Microwave, Washing Machine. Electric Central Heating, TV, Free Wi-Fi. Accessibility:The bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs in this quaint cottage. This unfortunately means that the cottage may not be ideally suited to those with mobility issues. Outside: Outside to the rear is a small raised gravel patio area equipped with a wrought iron picnic table and 4 chairs. There are some mature shrubs and seaside plants. Parking: Parking is available a 3 minute walk away at the Marazion Sea Fron car park at £4.50 / day. Pets: Although we love animals and have our own little dog, no pets of any description are accepted at Chykembro.
