Positive: A very nice house in a quiet authentic village with mostly local people and just a few tourists. The apartment was clean and cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped. The rooms and the bathroom weren't very big but quite comfortable. The terraces were awesome. We enjoyed having our dinner there or lying on the sunbeds and looking at the stars. To stay in this house you need a car. We didn't have any problems with parking. The road from the mainland to Afrata village is a bit winding but the views are fantastic. Afrata Beach is a two-minute drive from the house. The beach isn't big but the water is very warm and there's a lot of space for swimming.
Negative: In the middle of our stay the kitchen was attacked by an army of small ants and we failed to get rid of them though we hid all the food.
