Chic, cozy and adorable, our recently renovated 1929 Nyack Village cottage is a one of a kind. Located one block from Main Street and the wonderful dining, shopping and culture downtown Nyack has to offer, our home is the perfect backdrop for a beautiful weekend retreat. Traveling for work? NYC is a quick 30 mile commute with fast access to public transportation. We welcome you to come and be our guests! Featuring all the comforts of home and swoon-worthy details of a vacation home, 'The Baby Beige' features an open floorplan, woodburning stove, beautiful original wood details with designer kitchen and bath, comfy sleep and lounge spaces, a four season sun room, summer vegetable garden and the quintessential picket fenced yard, complete with fire pit lounge. Take a stroll to one of Nyack's fantastic and diverse restaurants or sip a craft beer at one of the Village's many bars. Watch the sunrise over the Hudson, stop by the Palisades Mall for some shopping or take a quick drive upstate for wonderful, scenic hiking, skiing and seasonal activities. In the summertime, visit the local farmer's market and cook a meal at home with fresh, local Hudson Valley ingredients. Feel free to use a handful of organic herbs from our little indoor micro garden! The home has 2 sun-filled bedrooms: the first featuring a queen-sized Casper bed and the second, a queen-sized memory foam bed. The sofa is also available as a sleeping option. You are welcome to use anything in the kitchen and will be provided coffee and tea for the duration of your stay. The refrigerator features filtered, drinkable water. The home is old and many of its details are original, including the steam heating system so we urge guests to enjoy its charm, but be considerate. Please don't hesitate to ask for recommendations or cool things to do while you are visiting. We do ask that you treat the home with love and respect and remove shoes upon arrival. --Driveway parking only (if you park on the street, you'll be towed) --No smoking --No parties --Sorry, no pets --House is not baby-proofed --Please close all blinds upon departure. --Please remember to lock up. --No more than 5 guests overnight.
