We’ve got the best of both worlds here at Cherryfield Luxury Group Camping (and it’s perfect for safe gatherings during COVID-19!). Our tent pavilions Blue Ghost and Wild Turkey are the perfect way to camp comfortably; built in the woods on 250 private acres right along Cherryfield Creek, you are surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature...on a sturdy, well-built campsite platform with a roof overhead (that’s right, not even rain can ruin your getaway!). Each tent platform comfortably fits four full size tents, and together, Blue Ghost and Wild Turkey can accommodate up to 25 people total. However, each additional camper beyond 10 campers will be a $25 charge per camper per night...but the more the merrier! (However, if your group is larger than 50 we require that you reserve the entire facility. Our other two tent pavilions, Hellbender and Ridgeline, can hold even more friends -- you can reserve all four pavilions easily by searching our listing with "Entire Property" in the title instead! Hint: you’re welcome to do this even if you don’t have 50 people, but simply want more space for your group. And yes, we do it all: weddings, retreats, events, the works!) The spacious Blue Ghost and Wild Turkey platforms are side-by-side, making for easy gathering with parking right out front (making for easy loading and unloading). But that’s not all you have access to -- far from it! A quick walk across the road will lead you to your own personal luxury bathroom suite, which includes: two full bathrooms , two half baths, a luxury indoor steam shower (all with coded entry for your privacy) and one outdoor shower. Just outside of the bathroom suite are more amenities for your group to enjoy: a large swing, a covered meeting area, one large outdoor sink, multiple power outlets, a bear proof food box, a fire pit, a large communal grill, a Keurig coffee maker, and assorted coffees. We’ve also got plenty of beautiful wooden chairs and picnic tables dotted around this communal area to make your outdoor hang outs even cozier. See? We really meant it when we said that Cherryfield Campgrounds is where the Great Outdoors meets luxury. And since our goal is to help you enjoy your outdoor adventures (comfortably, of course), we’re also conveniently located just minutes from some of the best hiking and biking in the Blue Ridge. We’re five minutes from downtown Brevard and an easy drive to spots like the Nantahala and Pisgah districts of Pisgah National Forest (where you can find Looking Glass Falls, John Rock, the fish hatchery and more), Gorges State Park, the French Broad River and DuPont State Recreational Forest. We’ve even got a short hike to a small waterfall right from the campground!
