Cherry Glen Cottage is a ‘half house’ apartment in a rustic 100 year old cottage. Just minutes to both Bowral and Mittagong, Cherry Glen is close to most of the districts popular event venues and attractions. Set on an acre, the property is rich in character and though you occupy half of the main house, you’ll probably never see us at all. With your own private entrance & huge wrap around verandah you’ll think you’ve come ‘home’. There’s the afore mentioned verandah, a charming entrance hall, the excellently equipped large and lovely sitting room with ethanol fireplace and dining area. There is no kitchen, but the sitting room does play host to a small fridge, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and eating area. Follow the yellow brick road (or at least the yellow cypress floorboards) and find yourself in the sun-drenched, french country inspired bedroom, complete with crooked walls, a quaint slant and a wonderful energy. The sweet bathroom is small but beautiful with a shower over bath. Cherry Glen is on a busy main road, but the apartment has soundproofing within the walls and double glazing. The property also has pets... a five year old Border Collie named 'Boston' and a wild 'Cougar' (by name and by nature) who stalks prey and slinks through the grass in search of adventure and mischief (but is really a small cream Lilac Burmese ... but don’t tell him).
