On the opposite side of the valley, the Lower Engadine Dolomites rise dominantly behind Tarasp Castle, embedding the village in an alpine picture-book landscape. The 400-year-old Alpine Mill Ftan tells of the once-rich grain culture. The Ftan-Prui chairlift quickly and reliably takes you up the mountain and directly to the Motta Naluns snow sports area in winter. The children's area with magic carpet makes it easier for beginners to start skiing, and this is located near the apartment. Pure snow fun for young and old is also provided by the toboggan run between Prui and Ftan.The apartment offers plenty of space thanks to a generous floor plan and is very sunny with its southwest orientation. The apartment located in the attic also has two balconies, from where one can enjoy a free view of the impressive Engadine mountains.
