Summerscape, an impeccable and exclusive gated community and well kept secret, is perfectly located in Wells, Maine away from busy streets but close enough to visit York, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport and other beautiful places in Southern Maine. This charming cottage in a friendly community is only a 5-10 minute drive to popular 7 mile long, sandy Wells Beach, and the quieter sandy Drake's Island Beach. Crescent Beach, a tidal beach, will delight those wishing to experience a classic Maine rocky coast, complete with outstanding views. Also easily accessible is Moody beach, an excellent spot for a long beach walk that will take you directly into Ogunquit Village with its quaint shops. Many popular restaurants are right around the corner from our location including the famous Congdons Donuts and their After Dark Food Truck Park, The Steakhouse, Mike's Clam Shack, and Borealis Breads. All so close, you can walk to them in 10 minutes.
This stand alone cottage is an end unit, providing a private side yard with lush tree growth. The 2 BR/1 Bath upscale cottage has everything you need to ensure a relaxing and memorable vacation. Fully stocked kitchen with large peninsula and bar stools, granite countertops, beautiful antique dining table and classy hutch, stainless steel stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher will make prepping, cooking and dining with friends and family a pleasure. Relaxation will come easy in the light filled living room with beadboard walls, comfortable seating, including a sleeper sofa, armchairs, smart TV, and tasteful coastal decor. The master bedroom in soothing neutral colors, has a queen size bed, full dresser, closet, nightstands, and reading lights for both occupants. The guest room holds a stylish, hand designed full over full bunk bed, dresser and closet. Full bath has a tub/shower combo, beadboard vanity and a linen closet. A front loading stackable washer and dryer are located in a closet off of the kitchen. Wall mounted split phase Heat/AC, ceiling fans, and portable AC will enhance your overall comfort by keeping rooms cooled or heated. A gas grill and outdoor seating will take the vacation outside. Our cottage at Summerscape is less than a 5 minute walk to the clubhouse at the entrance, with fitness room. The game room (ping pong, foosball, air hockey), heated pool, hot tub and fire pits are 5 minutes in the opposite direction.
Internet is provided. Streaming on TV is available with guest's own accounts. Linens and towels are provided.
