This beautiful ranch home is in walking distance to a private beach association. Cute as a button and neat as a pin, this home is cozy and oozes charm. Bright and sunny kitchen with a sweet Dutch door. Brand new walnut stained wood floors run throughout the majority of the house. Beautiful gardens are surround by fence. A bluestone patio allows you to enjoy the great outdoors with a brand new gas grill, perfect for summer BBQ's. This house was recently renovated in the Spring and everything is brand new (mattresses, dining room, sofa, flat screen TV, cedar outdoor shower). The house has a built in storage area as well as a car port. Convenient location close to town and I95. Come enjoy life by the beach! Absolutely no pets of any kind.

Summary: This small beach house is in a great location near Madison. It has plenty of windows and comfortable furniture. We stayed in the winter, but it looks like the yard and garden will be beautiful in the spring and summer. The owner was available and helpful. I can’t give it 5 stars for a couple of reasons. First, one of the bedrooms - the converted garage - smells extremely musty, and the smell pervades the house. Second, the kitchen is a bit underprepared. There’s no drip coffee maker (There is an espresso machine for those who know how to use one) and no microwave, and the house had only one sauce pan, with a lid that didn’t fit. (It did have plenty of skillets, a couple of big stock pots, and Pyrex ovenware). The oven readout was so faint that we couldn’t see what temperature was displayed in daylight hours. But if you don’t plan to prepare meals and aren’t sensitive to smells, it’s a lovely place to stay. And hopefully the owner can remedy these issues and make it a 5-star rental.
