Ours is a beautiful and spacious house in the heart of Brussels, very well connected with public transport, 6 minutes from Brussels North train station, buses and trams a few steps away up the street, conveniently taking you everywhere.
We have recently decided to rent our house out for extra income, it is furnished with some mid-century antiques pieces and filled with books. The 150-year old house itself is full of grandeur and charm, with its 4,5 m high ceilings adorned with mouldings.
The house is located in a very lively neighbourhood, a few minute-walk from some of the most beautiful art nouveau architecture examples in Brussels (av. Louis Bertrand, Av. General Foch, rue Royale Sainte-Maire, etc.) and neo Renaissance buildings (the Schaerbeek town hall, etc.)
Grand Place is a 20 minute walk from the house.
The spacious garden is a very private, leafy and peaceful oasis in the heart of Brussels.
Schaerbeek is home to some of the most impressive examples of art nouveau buildings and very close to the center of Brussels (it is a 20 minute-walk to Grand Place from the house).
