Newly Available For 2020! Enjoy beautiful ocean views from the deck and large picture windows of this charming cottage. Located on a quiet dead-end street, you'll see the real Maine, with lobster men loading their traps and motoring their boats in and out of the cove. Inside Cove Cottage, you will find three small but comfortable bedrooms, an updated modern bathroom on the first floor, an updated modern kitchen, and living room and dining room areas with spectacular views. There is also a small half-bath on the second floor. A leisurely five-minute stroll can bring you to two small beaches, one of them sandy and swimmable, and the other shallow and muddy but great for collecting shells and sea glass. A rocky prominence between the two beaches is also a great place to climb and explore. Cove Cottage is conveniently located just a 20 minute drive from Brunswick, and is only 5 minutes away from Bailey Island. Orr’s Island is connected to Bailey Island by the unique cribstone bridge, a recognized Historic Civil Engineering Landmark, and is believed to be the only granite cribstone bridge in the world. Additionally, both Islands offer numerous opportunities to order fresh seafood, explore gift shops and art galleries, and view a variety of wildlife along the ruggedly beautiful Maine coast.
