Guests are free to walk the entire property. Extremely private, secure and very quiet. Resort lock access with your own personal access code good for your visit. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids). Parking for 2 cars. Wifi internet, 2 HD TV's, DirecTV, DVR access to 80 plus movies for the whole family. 2 queen beds, a queen sofa bed, and a cot. A full sofa bed, 2 pack and plays, and 2 air mattresses are also available for kids. Note because we have 3 beds listed, VRBO counts that as 3 bedrooms, the third "bedroom" is the sofa mattress in the living room. The guest house is professionally cleaned and restocked for each visit. In the bathroom, we provide shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, lots of fresh towels, a make up mirror and a hairdryer. In the kitchen, we provide salt, pepper, oregano, rosemary, basil, parsley, extra virgin cooking oil, garlic salt, aluminum foil, ground coffee (and filters) in the freezer,​ teas, a fresh scrubber, and kitchen towels. No events or parties of any kind. Parking for 2 cars MAX. Only paying guests are allowed on the estate. Bring your rackets, the tennis court is always open. Mountain bikes, running shoes, surfboards are welcome too! We are 15 minutes from the Ocean, Moorpark, and Camarillo Premium Outlets. 20 minutes to Ventura, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village and Simi Valley. There are train stations in Camarillo and Moorpark that can take you to the Downtown Santa Barbara, Downtown Los Angeles, or Downtown San Diego. We are 75 minutes from LAX, 45 minutes from Burbank and Santa Barbara airports. Somis is an unincorporated community of Ventura County, California that was established in 1892 by Thomas Bard and D.T. Perkins on a portion of the Mexican land grant, Rancho Las Posas. Somis is in the Las Posas Valley on the south bank of Fox Barranca, just west of Arroyo Las Posas. The name of this townsite may have been derived from “water of the scrub oak,” a Chumash place name referring to the presence of water. There was a Ranchería named Somes noted in records from 1795 and 1796.
