Located on a semi private road that offers peace and tranquility while being surrounded by mature pine and oaks. The area is known as Jacks Ranch is just minutes off of Highway 1 and has some of the best weather on the Monterey peninsula. Del Monte Golf Course is located one minute down the street and five minutes to most everything else.
The home was completely restored in 2013-2015 with modern appliances while maintaining its original character. The open ceilings and hand hewn beams bring lots of natural light and charm. The home was built from original first growth redwoods going back hundreds of years.

Summary: The home and layout is great! At first, we realized it didn't have air-conditioning, but was leaving the windows open and the opportunity to open several different double door entry ways. The air flowed perfectly through it, and gave us an outdoor feel even inside. We enjoyed staying there and it works perfect for our time at Monterey car week. One thing I would make note just because of our cars that we did have and luckily have front axle. Left would be the driveway and slope. If the slope was noted in the listing sadly probably would've looked at other options, but it did end up working out and it gave us a spot to have our cars parked and secured. We made it work, but that would be the only feedback I would give as a precautionary, so it doesn't lead to problems since a lot of cars, such as ours may not have the front axle lift. Otherwise, no complaints and hoping to have an opportunity to stay there again in the future. In fact, my good friend that was staying there with us was so interested that he thinks he should buy something like that now. The layout was impressive and very comfortable.
