Positive: Checking in to the unit was very easy, as Mariana contacted me via Whatsapp to let me know the check-in instructions. The keypad has a code that locks and unlocks the door, and it was very easy to use. The rooms were all clean, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils, and the unit was cozy. Also, even though it was June, since it is a ground floor apartment, it was not too hot and I could sleep without the fan. Nice patio with some plants attached to the second bedroom as well. Very cute animals across the street balcony. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lisbon! The location is very close to many key tourist spots as well, with many cafes and restaurants nearby.
Negative: Some cons to the apartment: it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke when we entered - maybe someone such as the cleaner had smoked before we came, I am not sure. Additionally the fan provided in the second bedroom (bunk beds) makes a lot of noise, and should be replaced. It is not possible to sleep comfortably with the noise that fan makes, so I kept it off. Thankfully temperature inside was okay. No A/C inside the apartment. There is also a bad smell that comes from the drain on the patio (which makes sense as its a drain), so we kept that door closed to prevent that smell from coming in. No parking except for street parking, but we just used Bolt (similar to Uber) which is very cheap and affordable in Lisbon.
Summary: Cute and clean place to stay in Lisbon which is centrally located and easily accessible.
