Unpack, stay-and-play in this charmer with the look and feel you come to expect in a lake community home! This completely furnished home is located in The Hideout, a four-star gated resort community less than two hours away from the tri-state area in the lake region of the Poconos.
Pack your bags and drive on up to this 3 bedroom, plus a loft, 2 bathroom retreat featuring 1,732 square feet of living space on three floors. This home provides a fantastic setting for family and friends to enjoy their time together making enough memories to last a lifetime.
The home sleeps 10 comfortably. The main level has an open floor plan. Walk into the living room with large vaulted ceilings and a romantic fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the necessities for your convenience. Sit and relax in the screened in porch, hang outside on the deck that has a table and gas BBQ grill or cozy up near the fire pit, perfect for roasting s'mores.
There is a bedroom on the main level with a queen sized bed, ceiling fan and wall AC unit. Across from the bedroom you will find the main bathroom equipped with a tub/shower.
Upstairs you will find another bedroom with a queen sized bed and AC wall unit. Across the hall is a bedroom containing 2 twin sized beds and another twin sized trundle bed along with a wall AC unit. Down the hall is another full bathroom with a tub/shower. Curl up with a good book in the loft area or watch a movie from the extensive DVD collection. There is a comfortable full sized futon bed in the loft that overlooks the main living area.
The lower level is full of fun with a TV, ping pong table, basketball game, Pac-Man arcade game, and 10-in-1 game table perfect for everyone in the family to have fun! There you will also find a couch that pulls out to another queen sized bed. Through the game room you will find a washer and dryer if needed.
This home is diagonally across from Getaway Park where you can launch our double kayak, single kayak, or paddle boat on Roamingwood Lake. We are also within walking distance to the Main Lodge where you can find the outdoor pool, beach, tennis court, snack stand and tiki bar. You will find so many amenities (for a fee), here you'll never want to leave!
Amenities include a clubhouse, lodge, art center, nine hole golf course and pro shop, outdoor tennis and basketball courts, 225 acre Roamingwood Lake, 2 sand beaches, 2 outdoor heated pools, ski hill with chairlift, snow tubing hill with tow line, ice-skating, and an indoor sports complex that includes a game room/workout room, indoor tennis and basketball courts, and gift shop. Nearby activities include Pocono Raceway, Bushkill Falls, Claws N Paws Animal Park, as well as numerous state parks, ski resorts, and water parks.
The community controls the POA Registration fee.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. The house was big, well equipped and even though it's on a main road, the back is very private. We also enjoyed 5 mins walk to the main beach and pool. Kids enjoyed games and we all had a great time. Will gladly stay again.
