You'll love staying at our cottage home with its colorful windows and welcoming atmosphere! This home is historic with modern upgrades. We are in short walking distance from Woodland Blvd of Deland where all the shops, restaurants, and local events take place. Stetson University and the local Police and Fire Department are just a couple of blocks down the street. We have Roku and games for the rainy days and a front porch table and chairs for the sunny ones. We look forward to hosting you!
It's a perfect place to stay for students and parents visiting the nearby Stetson University campus, for families or individuals in town for a local visit, or for groups looking for a centralized base location to check out all that both Orlando and the beaches have to offer.
The house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a large living room with two futon couches and a futon chair, a dining room with a table and chairs for four and an office desk and chair, a large eat-in kitchen with everything you need to cook homemade meals (though the excellent nearby restaurant options shouldn't be missed!), a washer and dryer, and a nice large open front porch with a covered area by the front door. The walk in shower is one of a kind and a bathtub is available in the second bathroom. This home sleeps 10 people.
There are security cameras on the outside of the property that face away from the home. These are located by the front door and driveway. The rest of the cameras are located on the back of the property for the tenants in the apartments behind the home. The back courtyard is for our tenants and should not be used by Vrbo guests.
*Note that there are other tenants who live on the property, but they live in apartments on the back side of the property. You wont see them unless they're grabbing their mail from the street side mailbox. They access the mailbox through a side gate that is on the opposite side of the house, away from all Vrbo bedrooms, bathrooms, and the living room. They are all very quiet and keep to themselves, and you'll have sole use of the house and the front porch, front yard, and driveway areas. *We strongly encourage guests to purchase Trip Insurance to meet the needs of their refunds beyond the scope of our refund policy.
