6 Bedroom House in Lookout Valley Neighborhood Association, Chattanooga

This is a cozy and charming 4 bedroom rancher with a 2 bedroom loft in the back above the detached garage. It is full of comfort and warmth nestled at the foot of Lookout Mountain and Raccoon Mountain. Convenient highway access puts you downtown in minutes! With tons of great food options and activities to do downtown. Nearby there are also multiple trails and attractions like Rock City, the Aquarium, Ruby Falls, and more.
The front main Ranch house has 4 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. There are smart TV's in 2 of the 4 bedrooms along with a 50 inch smart TV in the living room. Out front, there is plenty of parking as well as some additional parking behind the house in front of the detached garage. Above the garage is where the 2 bedrooms 1 full bath Loft is, which is accessed by an outside staircase attached to a large deck. This deck provides awesome views with an outdoor table and chairs.Please note the stairs to enter the loft are fairly steep and may be difficult for those with mobility issues! Each room has its own tv in the Loft.
Both of these units have full kitchens with basic cooking ware, silverware, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, etc. Each unit also has a Keurig with several different coffee options available. These units do not have a dishwasher.

Summary: The property manager was one of the most responsive I have ever worked with. That alone makes the stay more pleasant. We were in town for my daughter’s graduation from UTC and this was a good place to host several family members from out of town. The location is right off the interstate and easy to find. Noise from the interstate can be heard but it didn’t especially bother us. The house is about 15 minutes away from the downtown campus in a residential area. If I had been in Chattanooga to visit the city I probably would not have been thrilled with the location. The house was freshly cleaned when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to prepare meals. The living area in the main house is not especially large and the dining area is located in an awkward spot. One request to the owner/manager is more mirrors please! With several people trying to get ready for an event with limited bathroom space mirrors in the bedroom would have been helpful. The separate space above the garage was cute and allowed for some privacy among the guests. Overall, a good place for a large family to stay and serve as sort of a home base for other activities.
