Mastic Cottage/Chapel is a unique cottage with a mix of modern and old construction techniques. It features a vaulted ceiling, stained glass arched windows and natural stones excavated from the property. The stained glass, originally from Keokuk Iowa and made from Kokomo Glass in the late 1800s, is a work of art. Additionally, the cottage features a private beach entry sand pool with a natural look that provides you with your very own oasis.
The main cottage includes a spacious open concept living area with living room, dining area and modern kitchen, as well as a large master suite with a large en-suite master bathroom. The living room has 2 sofas and a projection smart TV. Great for watching a movie or just socializing. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a wine cooler.
The 2nd separate smaller cottage has a queen size bed, flat screen smart TV and an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. NOTE that this is a separate cottage next to the pool, so it would not be suitable for small children. Chapel Cottage is a fabulous option for 2 couples wanting both private and shared spaces. This would also work well for a family with older children, who do not need to be continually supervised.
The smart TV’s in the main living room and in both bedrooms have Netflix and Apple TV. The cottages have central air conditioning and there is WiFi throughout the property. Take a dip in the private swimming pool with a sand bottom and shallow beach-like entry. For outdoor relaxing, there is a nice BBQ and lounge area and the entire property is surrounded by nature.
