Enjoy the easy entry with no stairs and a quiet neighborhood with dark star filled skies, a small home town feel and the opportunity of being so close to one of the most beautiful places in America, Sedona! Red Rock County. Ahhh..Away at last! I am taking extra precautions by stepping up our cleaning protocol to sanitize and disinfect every area of the home, especially high touched areas. This is a quiet gated neighborhood, no people interaction necessary. Stay here and avoid the traffic getting into Sedona by coming in the back way a quick 12 miles on a scenic drive with no traffic and no lights. Lots of Grocery shopping options near the house and dining options only 5 minutes away in Historic Old Town Cottownwood. Spend the day in Sedona with red rocks views, hiking, scenic drives, tours, horseback rides, hot air balloons, spas, galleries, shopping and dining.....Spend a great day with your family at Slide Rock Park or visit the natural land vortex’s such as Cathedral Rock and Bell Rock for healing energy and mental clarity. My favorite hike is Devils Bridge, a moderate 35 minute hike to the top of this natural land arch, walk out on the arch or enjoy it from a distance…either way you will leave here with some great pictures, a sense of accomplishment, and inspiration. Travel 12 miles south to Jerome, an old copper mining town, artist community with an interesting reputation of being a ghost town. If you want unique local art instead of mass-produced 'Indian Art & Jewelry,' which, unfortunately, has begun to be plentiful in the shops of Sedona. Great location for photography, shopping, wine tasting, galleries and dining. This new home is open and light with great energy and blazing fast internet. Enjoy the sounds of the tranquil water fountain or relax in the round chair with a cup of morning coffee or cuddled up with a special someone. Enjoy the temperature being 10 degrees cooler here than in Scottsdale. You open the door and you know that you are 'home'. Leather sofas, down comforters. In the winter the gas fireplace is capable of making the family room nice and toasty. Enjoy some family time with a movie with the smart TV with Netflix included. In the summer enjoy coming back from a long day of hiking to a super cool air conditioned home. The sliding glass door leads to an open space patio surrounded by plants, flowers and a variety of bird life. To one side is the green grass of the golf course, the other side is open space with beautiful views of the Mingus Mountain. Spend an evening talking with friends or make new friends as you visit with the golfers on the 18th hole. I often love to sit out there alone..in the evening enjoying the view with a glass of wine and my own thoughts.. The tiled kitchen is open to the family room with bar counter and stools for entertaining your guests...everything about this place, from the Sedona Landscape images to the Indiana Jones room makes you feel like you are in Sedona. The master bedroom is spacious and inviting…romantic mood lighting with a medium-firm mattress, nice and cool high thread count sheets and Flat screen smart TV. A full bathroom with a stall shower. Just drop your bags and head off for the red rocks. The guest bedroom has s a medium firm queen mattress, high thread cool sheets and down pillows. Complete with a Flat screen smart TV and walk in closet. Decorated in a series of photographic images by the owner of the natural land arches in Sedona. Next to the water fountain is the third bedroom, The Indiana Jones Room, no TV in here, perfect for a single guest who loves to read or just loves some peace and quiet from the rest of the family. This room offers a very comfortable firm twin futon mattress, a full closet and wood writing desk inviting you to document your vacation experiences in your journal...or perhaps complete that writing project you started last year!
