OUR OPINION
Spacious, cosy and central! Chalet les Sauberands has a number of features that makes it extremely popular : the TV room is light and spacious and really doubles as a second sitting room with access directly onto the deck; the office is a good size and overlooks the garden; both the hot-tub and outdoor pool (summer only) enjoy mountain views . All this means that there is generous space for groups to spread out. The clincher is its proximity to the town centre!

Summary: Our group of 12 had an excellent stay at this chalet during our ski trip to Chamonix. There was plenty of bedroom space for the full group, and enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone comfortably. The house was even nicer than the pictures, with an amazing and sizable living room space and kitchen area. The hot tub was also great to have for our group. In terms of location, our group was skiing every day and it was easy to catch the bus to all mountains in the valley (5 min walk to multiple bus stops). It was also a short walk to town and it is located near many good restaurants and bars. The owners were extremely responsive, accommodating early check in and immediately fixing the few minor issues that popped up during our stay. When the sound system was not working properly, they sent out someone to fix the next day and it worked properly for the rest of the trip. The only minor issue was that the hot water occasionally did not work after a number of people showered, but that might have been related to the heavy snow / extremely cold weather. Overall, I would 100% recommend this chalet to any large group traveling to Chamonix for a ski vacation.
