From mid-april 2024 there will be construction noise from monday to friday as a new schoolhouse will be built below our chalet, please note that zermatt is a car-free village. you can park your car in täsch (indoor parking) and continute to zermatt by train or taxi, um unsere unterkunft zu erreichen, müssen ein etwas steilerer aufstieg (ca. 5 minuten) und einige treppen in kauf genommen werden. bei check-in und check-out mit gepäck kann ein benachbarter aufzug gebraucht werden. diese wohnungen sind nicht für gehbehinderte, unsportliche menschen geeignet.payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. the property will contact you after you book to provide instructions, please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. you can use the special requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation, this property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties, managed by a private host

Positive: Nice hosts. Clean property. Decently equipped kitchenette with cutlery and dinnerware. Modern bathroom with powerful shower although a little cramped. Ski room available towards the bottom of the hill saving you from having to carry ski equipment all the way up the hill to the property.
Negative: The property is located up a rather steep hill so getting back to the property when a little drunk or carrying groceries or after a long day skiing was quite a workout! (There is a lift operated by a nearby hotel but this is only usable for check-in/check-out). Property is relatively far away from all ski lifts. Beds have memory foam mattresses but I found these to be a little too soft for my liking.
Summary: Nice hosts, quiet location, affordable - just make sure your fitness levels are good!
