The chalet is approximately 2 km from the center of Stadl an der Mur, where there are shops and restaurants as well as a popular swimming lake. The chalet is 15 km from the historic old town and golf course of Murau, in an area known as one of the sunniest regions in Austria. Quiet mountain passes, small traditional villages and densely forested mountain slopes characterize the landscape. In the immediate vicinity is the well-known Kreischberg family ski area with a total of 42 kilometers of slopes. Another ski area and hiking paradise in the Nockberge is the Turracher Höhe with 43 kilometers of slopes.
