We are Nick and Natasha, the couple behind Casa Nina. Our ideal cottage getaway is now available for rent!
Our waterfront cottage rental offers the best of cottage living just 1h from Ottawa/Gatineau on beautiful Green Lake near Shawville, QC. Enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, paddleboarding, kayaking, BBQing, camp fires and more!
We’ve tried to think of everything, so you can make the most of your time away!
The space
The cottage is just steps from the shore line. Water access is easily accessible for all ages. Enjoy swimming in the warm and clear water of the lake, fishing and exploring the lake by canoe, paddle board or kayak (2x for kids).
Our mosquito repelling machines help make the outdoors more enjoyable! Enjoy playing lawn games, make a camp fire (wood provided with each reservation), or set up hammocks (2x) between the trees and relax to the sound of the birds.
The main floor offers open concept kitchen/living/dining rooms with fantastic views of the lake from inside the cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped, and includes everything you’d expect to find behind the cupboards.
There are 2 bedrooms on the second floor, the primary bedroom with a queen bed and secondary bedroom with 2 single beds. There is also a sleeping loft with double mattress that is accessed from a ladder.

Guest access
The entire property is yours to enjoy for the duration of your rental. All the essentials are on site for your use.
This is not exclusively a rental, which makes it that much better! A few cabinets and drawers identified are off limits to guests.
Other things to note
I’m sorry, we cannot accept pets, or host larger groups. Absolutely no parties.
We have cell phone reception/3G. We currently don’t have wi-fi but are expecting to be connected by summer 2023! Please message me on this topic if a wi-fi connection is essential to your stay.
Water is not potable. Drinking water (2x 18L) provided with each reservation.
A designated amount of firewood is provided with each reservation. Additional wood may be purchased for an additional fee.
We have mosquito repelling machines!!!!
Additional propane tank available.
Lifejackets to be worn when canoeing, paddle boring or kayaking (child and adult sizes available).
It is expected that guests tidy the cottage (inside and out) and store garbage/recycling in the shed before checkout. Any required cleaning will be charged 75$/hour (damage deposit).
