Maple is a stately Victorian that was built over a century ago, offering such wonderful details as original fireplaces and wood-paneled walls and floors, all restored with love and care. You'll enjoy access to the island's lakefront beach, nearby trails, as well as boats (a kayak, a canoe, a paddle boat, and two paddleboards) to take out on the water, allowing you to live out your summer dreams of Vermont with ease.
At night, this 12-room home has accommodations for 11 guests. There's one bedroom with a king bed on the first floor, as well as four bedrooms upstairs, offering a king bed, a queen bed, a double bed, and three twin beds, respectively.
This lakefront cottage is located on the shores of Garden Island, a private, ferry-serviced island that has been family-owned and operated since 1973. It's the perfect spot for a quiet week away, a family reunion, or a relaxing weekend with friends and family. Here in Lake Champlain's Converse Bay, you can spend your days kayaking, canoeing, sailing, paddle boating, or simply splashing in the cool water on the island's beach. There's a gazebo on the grounds, several picnic tables for al fresco lunches, and a number of walking paths to explore nearby.

Kayak, canoe, paddleboat, and two paddleboards are provided.
The fireplace in the dining room does not work (but there are fireplaces in the main stairwell and the living room).
Complimentary ferry service is available from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Special arrangements can easily be made for earlier/later service. A $10 charge/gratuity (per trip, not per person) is payable to the ferry operator for service between 7 pm and 8:30 a.m.. There is always a ferry operator on-site 24 hours a day.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”).
