Wellington Cottage, 17th Century, was totally refurbed in 2015. High Street is Grade 2 listed. It is open plan downstairs, 3 bedrooms upstairs, 2.5 bathrooms inc 2 showers and 1 bath. Near the shopping street, Harbour and train to the beach, it is charming and modern with LED lighting, gas boiler, modern kitchen, a wood burner, 3 bathrooms inc 2 showers, nice beds, attractive décor. The pretty, private garden is South facing, with gas barbecue and garden furniture. In the shed are 2 bikes for guests and beach and fishing gear for the kids. I do the bookings and Alan services it. I love it. Wells is a very special place and we have lots of repeat bookings. It is a family property and our home when in Norfolk. You will receive a Welcome Pack when you arrive. Because it our home we leave dry goods such as coffee, tea, cereals etc in the pantry for you to use but please replace them when you leave. House Instructions detail parking and eating places. The Buttlands, just behind the cottage has The Crown and Globe, both wonderful pubs/hotels and restaurants. Opposite there is short stay parking and the PO is just over the road for cash advances etc. Within half a mile is the Co-op supermarket and gas station. Neighbours and locals are very friendly. Wells has some of the best beaches in Norfolk and you don't need a car to get there because you can catch the train! Within 5 minutes walk down Staithe Street is the new Entertainment Hub, The Maltings which puts on shows, films and streamings of Opera, Ballet etc, hosts pilates and other healthy activities and has a very nice bar and food outlet.
