Summary: This place is very convenient to all of the tourist area in the lower part of Coimbra; the squares are literally steps from the front door. The apartment has an oven, stove, good-sized fridge, and washing machine. There are some basic cooking dishes as well. There is a portable heater that was nice to take off the chill and also help with drying laundry. There is a long flight of stairs to access the apartment, and on 3 of the 5 nights I stayed there was quite a lot of noise in the tiny alley between the building next door and this one. A light sleeper would find this problematic (loud dragging of metal noises and motion-sensor lights going off and on). Overall a perfect spot to explore the city!
