Positive: The apartment was really lovely and clean. The roof terrace is huge and a perfect place to relax. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need including coffee and everything you need to cook. The beds are very comfortable. TV with netflix etc in living room. Washing machine. Iron. It really did have everything you would need to relax home from home. The shower is very powerful and you'll need a shower cap if you don't want to wash your hair every time you shower. The shower is a little small like most in italy. The host left a bottle of red wine, water, toilet rolls, coffee, washing powder, fabric softener for us. The host is really helpful and was on hand the whole time. He booked a taxi to the airport for us and messaged a couple of times to see if we needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble. Self check in was simple enough by collecting keys from a keysafe. The apartment is on the top floor and there is no lift so you need to carry your suitcases up quite a lot of stairs. There is a restaurant next door called Il Ruttino which is open till midnight and serve amazing pizzas. You can take the pizzas away also. The apartment is in a quiet area of sorrento. The apartment was really quiet and peaceful. A walk to sorrento town took about 20 minutes. The Vista Sky Bar is just a couple minutes away and I'd highly recommend a visit. There is a 50 euro minimum spend per person. Drinks are expensive but its worth it. I would say this is our favourite private host apartment we have stayed at abroad. Its the little touches that make such a difference and we would be more than happy to stay here again and recommend to others.
