Positive: Amazing views over the valley and beyond. Very private and quiet. Pool was excellent. Edo and Maurizio were very friendly and helpful.
Negative: The drive! 20 mins from Lucca of scary, winding road, often not wide enough for 2 cars. It meant we couldn’t just ‘nip’ anywhere. Property needed air-con. We found it too hot (even though cooler than the week before). We could open doors/windows but flies/mosquitoes and the cats could get in.
Summary: To get that view you have to be willing to drive! A great property but too far out for us.
