Summary: Casa Sumita is located very close to the Amsterdam Central Station. Only a 10 minute walk away! Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. There's also space to store your luggage available at the property. A couple of highlights of this apartment are: ★ Stylish bedroom ★ Ideally for 2 friends ★ Walking distance of the Central Station ★ Fridge ★ Free toiletrees The Space: Lovely private studio with twin bed, kitchenette, sink and toilet. The Neighborhood: This apartment is located on the Brouwersgracht within the World Heritage Protected Central Canal Belt. Brouwersgracht gets its name from the fact that many breweries once lined this canal, producing beer in a city with a long brewing history. The breweries in this part of the city have now closed, but many of the stunning buildings that housed them still remain. The canal is one of the most beautiful ones in Amsterdam. Several bars, cafes and restaurants still operate on the canal as well. Papeneiland is one of the city’s best examples of a traditional Brown Café and home to arguably the best Dutch Apple Cake in the city. The café is just a short distance from the apartment but be warned, it can only seat about 20 people, so get in early! The apartment is situated on the edge of the Jordaan district with its charming cafes, shops and restaurants and the Anne Frank House. Dam Square and the centre of Old Amsterdam can be reached in just a few minutes. It's a home to fine architecture and attractions including the Royal Palace, Madame Tussauds, The New Church and De Bijenkorf department store. The apartment is in a truly stunning location and is well serviced by public transport, making it possible to get to anywhere in the city quickly and with minimal effort. Getting Around: My place is in the centre and heart of Amsterdam. Getting around is quite easy and most of the things are a walking distance away. I also recommend renting a bike or using the well organized public transportation network. Trams and metros are at the Central Station (5 minute walk) and the bus stop is around the corner too! Other Things to Note: Freshly made up beds with the finest quality linen & towels (1 per person) will be waiting for you upon arrival. We want to welcome you into a clean and cosy home! If you wish to check-in to the apartment between 20:00/8PM and 08:00/8AM, this is possible. Due to the late hour we do charge an extra fee of 25 euros between 20:00-23:00 or 50 euro’s between 23:00-08:00. Thank you for your understanding! We charge 50 EUR for nightly issues.
