Positive: If you're into quiet, relaxing, outdoorsy holiday stays, this is probably one of the most beautiful places you'll find in Tenerife. The location is a bit remote, but that's exactly what we signed up for. The house is very comfortable, has a very charming feel and look and has an amazing patio. Even in the middle of march we enjoyed many sunny hours in comfy patio chairs (although be aware that you're staying at 900m altitude; the weather can change in 10 minutes). Yes, it's located above a road, but there's hardly any traffic so no worries ther. Big bonus: El Teide views every morning from the double bedroom :-) You can start several hikes (or cycling adventures) from the doorstep. A car is much needed as the closest town (with good supermarket) is a 10 minute drive on a steep road. All in all, a true gem!
Negative: Although the key box is very convenient, we prefer personal contact.
