Crestone is home to over 21 spiritual centers, offering insight and teachings to many different world religions. Creekside nature trails, starry nights at Sand Dunes National Park, and nature photography out the back door, makes this an excellent place to expand our connect to nature and explore spirituality. Our Home continues to be a Retreat of Silent meditation, a creative space for writers & contemplatives, and a welcome haven to those who lecture andteach online.
Our adobe stylehomehas two bedrooms, one featuring a queen bed and half bathroom with views of mountain peaks. The second bedroom has 2large workstations equipped with two desks, a full murphy bed, and a walk out patio which wraps around to the front of the house.The home hasviews out of every window, a large kitchen with bar seating, and a lovely dining room table for entertaining, as you enjoy your ownhome cooked meals.The living area is open and full of natural light with acozy couch and chairs for enjoying the beautiful sunsets and starry night skies.Enjoy sunset BQ dinner on the outdoor patio with outdoor seating in both the shade and the sun. This is a second home for the owners, who are working artists.Their unique art can be found hanging around the Casa.

At the Casa Retreat we provide a very simple breakfast so you can get out and enjoy Crestone when you arrive. We provide coffee, a simple selection of tea, oatmeal English muffins and eggs for a quick and nourishing meal.

We are a short drive to town, close to trails, within 1/2 hr to 3 different hot springs pools, and within an hour to the entrance to The Sand Dunes Nat Park.
Enjoy great tasting mountain well water and explore the beautiful San Luis Valley expansive mountain views, Sand Dunes National Park, elegant Sand Hill Cranes, dark night skies for star gazing and be on the look for UFOS, many stories of sightings have been heard around Crestone! There are many local hiking trails nearby the cabin, some folks suggest the North Crestone Trailhead, Willow Lake is a great day hike, and the Creekside trails along the greenbelts in the Baca Grande Subdivision are spectacular and lush. The Casa Retreat is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and folks looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.
Crestone Colorado is in the middle of the San Luis Valley. There is very limited public transportation in the area. We recommend Four Wheel Drive, or at least- All Wheel Drive if you are looking to come and stay during the Winter Season.

Crestone is a beautiful small town with some really unique and amazing locally owned stores and businesses. Local people feel grateful to have so many great places to shop and dine right in our small town. There are two small locally owned grocers, where you can find top of the line health food, vitamins and organic whole food. Enjoy dining in one of the locally owned cafes or restaurants and support the local artisans at one of the galleries or gift shops. We love our local thrift stores, so many hidden treasures can be found!
