Summary: This house exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful holiday. Having stayed previously at several "owner rented" properties you come to expect the good with the not so good. But this property was outstanding in all regards. A modern bungalow purpose built for this fantastic location with open views across the lake and a large quiet garden with beautiful olive trees. Inside the house is fitted out to a very high standard with high quality furniture and a striking kitchen. Not the standard rental ikea you get in most properties. Just a 10 minute walk along the lakeside promenade to the charming local harbour with a selection of restaurants for all tastes. Overall highly recommended. And yes, the window bars are ugly but you soon get over them!
