Positive: The location is fabulous in a small village about 2km from Altura and supermarkets are nearby (I'd advise hiring a car) big gated drive to the front of the villa. The house is spacious, furnished in traditional Portuguese style, lovely big kitchen with big fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher as well as cooker. Plenty of plates, dishes, glasses etc and utensils as well as pots and pans etc. The shower is lovely and powerful. New aircon units in the bedrooms, WiFi and massive TV in the lounge (we never used it as we spent our time outside) The best thing though is the pool and patio, it is as good as the pictures, if not better. It is big and open enough to have both sunny and shady areas all day long - perfect for when it gets too hot in the sun. The pool is a good size and very clean. We spent a lot of time there relaxing and sitting outside enjoying the warm evenings.
Negative: Nothing - we hope to return for longer next year.
