Positive: Casa Mijas was outstanding! Andres was extremely communicative and checked in frequently if we needed anything and offered restaurant and activity suggestions. Entrance is done via code, so it made it super simple and was great since we had more than 2 people so we didn't have the issue of someone returning to the house and not having a key. The house is large, lovely and historic. The 2 bedrooms are very spacious and bright with very comfortable beds. The kitchen was a big enough to use for cooking classes! We didn’t end up using the back garden area since we spent most of our time at a family member’s house, but it was a nice area for a BBQ or just to sit with your morning coffee. The bakery next door is not only convenient, but extremely tasty. Guests of Casa Mijas get daily free coffee. We also appreciated having a full sized coffee maker in the house to supplement. There is a Smiths grocery store about a mile down the road to buy provisions. Having a washing machine and dryer was a huge bonus and they even supplied laundry powder. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for us and the space big enough for all of us to have down time if needed. We certainly plan to be back!
