Positive: On the southern part of the Italian peninsula is a house located a short walking distance from a beautiful pinkish brown / red sand beach on the Ionian Sea with warm water, and within a short drive from the historical Aragonese castle. I highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to stay in a remote location with a faraway island feel without having to take a ferry. It is perfect for a car trip and there is parking right on the yard. It is a nice place to rest, a little off the beaten tourist track, and away from the discomfort of the big cities. Also, the owners were nice and went out of their way to accommodate us.
Summary: We had a nice rest after a long car trip in a remote geographic location.
