INTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS: The Main House at Casa Katama is topped with a magnificent Great Room that runs the length of the house with vaulted cedar ceilings, two walls of glass windows and doors, multiple living and dining spaces, fireplace, and large pool-facing deck for outdoor entertaining and dining.
One end of the Great Room is anchored by a fully-equipped Chef's Kitchen designed around a state-of-the-art La Cornue French range. There is also a separate grilling and herb garden deck, plus a large screened porch with fireplace at the other end of the Great Room. An elevator connects the first and second floors.
The multi-generational or multi-family design of the house is evident when it comes to the sleeping quarters. There are three first-floor Primary Bedrooms with en suite baths. Two of the suites (#2 & #3) have their own wings with Living Rooms and private decks. A grownup Game Room/Lounge with pool table and Kitchen connects the wings. There are two Offices and a shared bath just off the Lounge Area.
Each wing also has a lower-level bedroom suite for the kids, complete with sitting areas, bunk beds, and full baths. The kids' suites connect through a large Home Theater with surround sound and Game Room with plenty of space to play, as well as a ping pong table.
The separate Guest House suite is privately sited past the Pool House, with its own driveway. The stylish design features open Living Area with vintage floors, two walls of glass sliding doors, eat-in Kitchen with butcher block prep island/breakfast bar, granite counters, 3-ring radiant electric cooktop, and stainless appliances.
The Bedroom suite is located off the Living Area. It has an en suite bath, plus a separate Sitting Room with its own private front door entrance. Stairs lead down to a lower level with Family Room, full bath and laundry area.
The green design features include solar power, state-of-the-art electronic efficiency controls, and reclaimed wood floors throughout. There is a Sonos sound system throughout the Main House.

HOUSEKEEPING NOTE: Twice a week housekeeping is required and billed at $45/hour.
