Positive: Far, far away from everthing is perfect stay, and still progressing. The host was very kind and helpful, and we felt genuinely welcome. Overall, it’s a cozy, well-equipped, and nature-immersed stay, which we would gladly recommend to anyone looking for peace and authenticity on Flores Island. You can fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of roosters, birds, and cats, which made the experience feel very close to nature. Liked: Beautifully renovated stone building Well-equipped kitchen & comfortable bed Immersive natural experience with animal sounds Friendly and helpful host Open windows feel like a tent Cheesmaker, local restaurant, great local peoples
Negative: The garden was not yet completed during our stay, but the surroundings were still pleasant. Parking can be tricky due to the narrow street – it's only really an issue when loading/unloading. Smaller cars are definitely recommended, we had only 5–10 cm clearance on either side due to the stone walls. Not really like: Limited sound insulation Narrow access street – small cars are a plus No rain gutters – can be noisy during rain Concrete smell get into the bathroom towels (maybe temporary) Garden mess, but it inprogress - here things goes slowly - and me get a message about that
