Positive: Overall, we had an excellent stay at Casa Emy - the host, Pina, was there to meet our taxi on arrival, helped us up the stairs and gave us a thorough tour of the apartment and its facilities. She was very helpful, friendly and courteous. We didn't need to contact the hosts during our stay, but Pina, and then Manuel stayed in regular contact to make sure everything was ok.
Negative: I appreciate it is hard to keep a self-catering property fully equipped, and every cook has different needs, but the kitchen could use a few more cooking knives and a knife sharpener, and maybe even a bigger Moka pot (although that may be because we drank a lot of the delicious Italian coffee!). These are only very minor issues though, and they didn't detract from our stay.
Summary: Excellent! Comfortable, hospitable and luxurious.
