Summary: Great location! The property was a bit dated and in need of some basic repair. We had an incident with the door locks and were locked out. Found a locksmith across the street who told us the doors have been a problem for 15 years! He said he would not fix it because he’s had problems with the owner. Response from the manager and owner was less than acceptable. We were instructed to break a window to get in. Happened on Saturday and we were told it could be fixed on Tuesday. After some discussion, they sent a different Locksmith who arrived at 8:00 pm. We had reported the problem at 2:30. The locks were changed by 10:00 pm, but the window remained broken, with a towel stuffed in it, until Tuesday. We had to take all valuables with us wherever we went as the property was not secure. Not once did the owner check back with us to see if things had gotten fixed. Very unprofessional and unfortunate. Will definitely go back to Los Barriles, but would never stay on this property again.
