Positive: The views from the house are beautiful and the location is incredible, very close to waterfalls and hikes and in a fair distance by car to other points of interest in Serra da Lousã. The host is very communicative and always attentive to our needs. The house is beautifully refurbished and feels very homely and welcoming, especially if you enjoy nature and are looking for some tranquility.
Negative: The beds are not very comfortable, and difficult for people with reduced mobility as the beds are either in bunk beds or a mattress of the floor of a mezzanine. There are also quite limited essential cooking items (olive oil, spices etc) especially given the price paid. The house is beautiful and minimalistic, which to my taste is perfect, but in terms of value for money and comparing with other properties nearby it could be cheaper.
Summary: Very peaceful and perfect house for resting and enjoying nature!
