A charming and spacious two bedroom hill top cottage with a private pool overlooking the ‘Serra’ of Tavira. This is an inviting and very secluded retreat into the unspoilt hinterland. Casa do Burrinho is an ideal location for couples sharing and families, sleeping up to 4 people.
Casa do Burrinho is a much loved and well cared for holiday home. The entrance hall has a beautifully restored ornamental bread oven and leads into the comfortable living room. The kitchen and dining room area, on the other side of the hall, is fully equipped and has seating for 6 people. There is a double, en-suite, bedroom located some steps down from the kitchen.
The master bedroom occupies the entire first floor and has a charming Juliet balcony with far reaching views into the valley. The master bedroom is en suite and also has a dressing room. One can access the pool side area from the first floor landing. The pool area can also be accessed from the kitchen dining area.
Enjoy the various levelled terraces, and a large covered poolside area, ideal for al-fresco dining and watching the children have fun in the pool! The garden has an orchard including orange, plum, grapefruit, lemon, fig, olive, almond and carob trees….which you can help yourself to!
Six quality sun loungers with mattresses deck the terrace around the pool and there are tables and chairs available, under a 4 m2 covered patio. Sun umbrellas are provided, also for using on the beach.
The pool measures 8.5 m x 4.5 m and has a Roman end with steps leading into a shallow end of 1m leading to a deep end of 2.4 m. Casa do Burrinho has a freshwater pool with chlorine cleaning system. The pool is serviced twice weekly during summer and once weekly during the rest of the year by a competent and reliable professional.
Children are welcome – please always supervise children of all ages around the pool area. There is a terrace with a low stone wall beside the parking area.
We can supply two cots and high chairs if required. A chest of toys and games are also provided. Please let us know if you have any other requirements.
