Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great location close to the bay. Plenty of space around the building incl. some swings, great for kids. Clean and well-sized bedrooms. Big reception/dining hall with plenty of toys, good for very large families/groups that know each other well. Friendly owners that also live on the premises.
Negative: The large hall feels eerie in the evening when nobody's around, but also awkward when there are people. It tries to be a living room, but only has one large tv screen, and with many guests coming with their own families, people try to avoid each other there or in the shared kitchen. For a better hotel-like experience, it would be a lot better to close off the kitchen to guests and provide breakfast instead, and maybe consider breaking up the large hall into smaller areas to make it more attractive to spend time there. Regarding the rooms, ours smelled a bit bad during the day, especially the bathroom drains.
Summary: Quiet area, good for a couple nights by the beach.
