Positive: Casa Cira in La Calera was a great place to stay. La Calera is a lovely quaint and quiet little enclave above VGR with very friendly locals and nice cobbled narrow streets between the apartments. The apartment had a great location. Very close to 2 superb restaurants with great views over VGR and the sea and next door to a small supermarket. The is a cafe and another supermarket 2 mins walk down the steps. The apartment is more traditional but had everything I needed. It didn’t have room for a washing machine but there is a laundrette at the beach area. Maria, who met me at the property was a fantastic host giving lots of information. If there was any issues such as when I locked myself out of the apartment, she lived a few doors down and I could call her and with a quick response solved any problems. I would recommend staying in the property with the bonus of Maria looking after your needs.
