Positive: The facilities provided were very good the rooms were spacious and clean. Good sized TV but only really suitable for watching Youtube programmes which were surprisingly good. I got on well with Luis and his father who were quite responsive to any requirements. A very nice beach was only about a 6 minute brisk walk. The air con was good and most importantly the bed was very comfortable. The property seemed very secure provided you lock the gate and doors.
Negative: The location is a bit out of the way some form of transport is desirable I bought a bike which got me around. Mosquitoes but I eventually manged to get rid of them. I think they come in when the cleaner leaves the door open. The sink is a little small. Too many dogs roaming around barking and occasionally looking quite threatening + the mess they make. THIS IS THE CASE FOR MOST OF THE PLACES I WENT TOO IN MEXICO so not specific to this area or Plya in general.
Summary: I really good but Mexico needs to sort out the dog issue and the bad attitude of dumping garbage.
